Some of you may be in a position in your life that joining a Network Marketing Company is exactly what you need.
So, the question you have is exactly how do I make the right choice and not end up with a bad company or team.
How To Choose The Right Network Marketing Company
In this post, I'm going to go through the Top Five Areas that you need to look at when choosing a Network Marketing Business.
I have put these in the order I believe is the most important.
Although they are all very important there is a small difference between the importance so please take that into account.
This post is designed for the new person just jumping into MLM for the first time and the person that has been doing MLM and now is looking for a new company.
If your current company meets these 5 criteria then you are golden.
If not, then you may have to work a bit hard to have that success you desire.
5 Things To Look For When Choosing A Network Marketing Company
1. Company Leadership
This is a critical point in choosing the right company.
I don't care how good your comp plan is, or how great your product is if your company leadership is bad.
When I say bad it comes in many different flavors.
Your leadership could just be incompetent in the ways of Network Marketing.
They could actually be unethical and crooks just out for the big upfront money.
Whatever the reason they don't meet the great leadership criteria you need to run the other direction as fast as you can.
Unfortunately, I have been with companies in the past that have met both of these bad criteria and it's not a pleasant time.
You can lose your credibility very quickly and a lot of people will get hurt and that's not good for anyone.
So, be sure to do a thorough investigation of the company leadership and the field leadership you are considering joining.
You need to make sure you are in alignment with the leaders of the company you joining and the sponsor you are joining.
The reason I believe that timing is second is that we all know that getting in at the beginning of the curve is best.
We've all heard the saying “Timing is Everything” and it's true.
This comes in two areas.
First, what is your company's timing in the marketplace?
What is the competition like in the market you are looking at joining?
You need to look at the companies timing in their marketplace.
Just because there are a lot of people out there they are not all available for your market.
So, just be careful that you are not choosing a highly competitive market!
The next thing is how long have they been around.
Are they a long time company that every has heard of and it can be very hard to promote them at this point.
These longtime companies have gone over the peak in their company.
Timing is critical. Understanding when to get in is critical.
3. Product And Service
If anyone tells you that Product and/or Service doesn't matter then you need to run in the opposite direction.
There are four things that the customer cares about, that you need to understand.
Understand that your residual income comes from the customers.

Be sure to go there and read exactly what your customers want.
4. Compensation Plan
If they are not going to pay you a significant amount of money to promote then don't go there.
You want to make sure you can make significant amount of money from acquiring customers
Make sure you can also make money from building your team and make money from the middle of the comp plan.
What's the middle of the plan?
It's that place where you can make $2-3k a month.
You need to make sure there is plenty of money at the top of the plan also.
Stay away from companies that there are only a few people at the top making a fortune.
The reason is that there is only so much that goes out to the field.
Some companies will take the lion share of the portion of field commissions and put it at the top levels.
This means there will not be very many people making the big bucks because of that structure.
Just be very cautious of this.
5. The System (Save Yourself Time, Energy and Money)
I love that acronym for System
If you do not duplicate you will NOT Elevate! – Romacio Fulcher
You have to cater to the masses if you want to dine with the Classes!
It's all about DUPLICATION!
MacDonald's is a multi-billion dollar company run by kids… the key simple system.
Without a system, you and your people will be floundering and spending time trying to reinvent the wheel.
A system is a perfect way to have simple duplication which is critical.
If your company has a truly good system it means that anybody can have success if they put people through the system.
It's not only having a system but having a simple system is important.
I can't stress enough how important a good system is.
Without a good system, you will not duplicate.
