Over the years, I have found that in order to effectively help those people that we are working with you need to ask questions.
I love the old saying that God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth.
That means we should be listening twice as much as we should be talking!
That said must of us when we first got started had the stomach flu when it came to our business.

One reason you need to ask questions is because you will never know what your prospect or target market really needs.
To know the pain that your target market is experiencing you need to ask questions.
One of the best books I ever read on this subject was Secrets of Question-Based Selling.
Tom Hopkins is another sales trainer that teaches question-based selling that is incredible.
Once you learn and perfect the art of asking questions you will see a huge change in your business.
It has been said that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you CARE!
I show your care with asking pertinent and relevant questions that will give you more information about them.
Asking questions also put you in a place of power throughout the conversation.
You are the one in control.
