So here is a summary of the 6 keys from the Being Consistent module.

1.     Vision

This has become my number one reason that keeps me consistent.

This is the vision of who I want to become.  This is very different than your why.

I love the quote from Michael Beckwith – “Pain pushes you until your Vision Pulls You.”

Understanding who you want to become and what that is going to take will pull you into consistency in your business.

Your Why is typically external to you where as your Vision is internal to you and who you want to become.

You need to figure out what your Vision is and then develop that and allow it to pull you to consistency!

2.     Routine

Having a Daily Routine is another must.  Setting down exactly what you are going to do on a daily basis.

In the video, I give you an example of what my DMO is and how having one now has changed how consistent I have become.

Understanding that you DMO is something that you do until and whether or not!!!

In Ray's 3 Minute Expert course he goes through his DMO and that will also help you create one that works for you.

3.     Alternative (Fear Based)

This is where you have to come to grips with if I don't do this and become what my Vision is pulling me to what's the alternative?

Understand this is a fear-based tactic and won't work long term but will work in the short term to develop the habits you need to.

Is the alternative that you continue to be broke.

Is the alternative that you never get to take those vacations that you want to give your family.

Is the alternative that you become a workaholic and never have time for your family or anything else in your life.

What is your alternative to success in YOUR life!

Personality Colors: Their Importance In MLM

Personality Colors- Their Importance In MLMUnderstanding the Personality Colors in your MLM Business is very important when it comes to dealing with people.  Remember Network Marketing is a People Business.

I love how are trainer Marc Accetta goes through explaining these personality colors and he has a test you can take to see exactly what color you are.

How we react with our prospects and team members is all about each person's personality traits.

I love what Marc says about becoming a chameleon when we are interacting with the different personality colors.

Personality Colors- Their Importance In MLM

Why is understanding the different personality types important in our MLM Business?

When you understand what personality type YOU are and how that interacts with other personality types you will communicate much more effectively.

Understanding that Red's and Yellow's are polar opposites and if you try and communicate to a Yellow with a Red personality you will accomplish NOTHING!

So when Marc talks about becoming a chameleon he means that after you understand what color the person is that you are talking to you need to adjust so they will hear you.

Each color needs to get to know all about the other colors outside of who you are.

Understanding that Red's and Yellow's are opposite and Blue's and Green's are opposite will help you immensely.

I would encourage you to take Marc's Personality test and see exactly where you are at.

Personality Colors: Definitions

Blue

Fun-loving, bright, spontaneous, and generally jovial, ‘blue’ people are the type that “lives for the moment.” They are extremely sociable and outgoing and like to be out in the sun.

They prefer to follow strong leaderships and are willing to cooperate as long as they get treated nicely. On the downside, they tend to be forgetful and are usually not mindful of their time.

Due to their spontaneity, they are impulsive buyers and as a result, spend their money freely. People under this category are also travelers and adventurers

Green

People in this category are rational and calculated thinkers. They try to research exhaustively before deciding on something and refrain from making rash decisions.

They are natural cynics and are usually skeptical of other people’s motives; probably because they do not trust their intuition as much as established facts.

As a result, they are very realistic and they possess a proclivity toward prejudging people. They are also systematic and pedantic, sometimes necessitating guidelines by which they can abide by. They are also notorious for being emotionally detached.

Red

Confident, challenge-oriented, competitive—these are probably the three most appropriate adjectives to describe ‘red’ individuals.

They tend to hang out with fellow achievers, despite their many insecurities and their strong desire for approval. They are also known for being good decision-makers.

On the other hand, they can be short with people and prefer to be in the VIP section. This does not make them particularly good team players.

Yellow

Easily the most personable among the four types, ‘yellow’ types are extremely loyal and are very good team players. They value honesty and integrity and are very family-oriented.

This is largely the reason why they prefer to follow ethical leaders. They love all forms of life and are very environmentally conscious, thus making them great outdoors people.

They try to avoid conflicts and confrontations as much as possible and usually take on the role of a peacemaker in dire situations. They love to support charities and other worthy causes, thus impelling them to dislike greedy and materialistic people.

They are also creative, expressive, and unpretentious.

The Secret To How To Conquer Your FearsI have found over my years that there is only one secret on how to Conquer Your Fears! 

Learn today exactly what that secret is.

As I was going through Ray Higdon's Total Recruiting Mastery course one of the modules is on “Getting past your fear of rejection.”

When I was going through this it started to bring up my history of fear and how I have conquered those fears in my life.

I want to share with you a couple of my life stories that have answered this question how I conquer my fears.

The Secret To How To Conquer Your Fears

My first story of fear in my life that was conquered was when I was a teenager.

I was incredibly shy and talking to girls was just out of the question.  In fact, as a senior in High School, I had never even kissed a girl much less go out on a date.

One day one of my best friends took me aside and said let's go to the mall and just start meeting random girls.

I was terrified but after about an hour of just walking up to random ladies and introducing myself and saying hi I wasn't have as terrified anymore.

My next story happened after High School when I was drafted into the US Army.

I always wanted to be a paratrooper but the thought of really jumping out of a perfectly good airplane was a great fear.

After Basic Training at Ft Knox, I was on my way to Ft Benning Georgia to start Jump School.

The first week was called “ground week” and we learned how to do PLF's (Parachute Landing Falls) and started jumping out of the 34′ towers.

That was the first fear I had to overcome.  32 feet is a strange height and for some reason is more fearful for most people than say 70 feet.

250 foot towers at benningThe second week was “tower week” and in this week, we had to fall from a 250′ tower.  This was a huge fear but the more times I did it the less fear and the more excitement and awe.

The third week was the last and it was called “jump week.”  This was the week that we did 5 jumps from either a C-141 or a C-130.

c-130 jumpI remember on the first jump there were trainees that actually stopped in the door and had to be pushed out.

I was terrified at first but again after the second and third jump, I couldn't wait to get up there again.

I ended up after my training and for years doing hundreds of jumps and just loving it.

The last story I will share is my fear of public speaking.

I remember taking Speech Class in school and getting sick every time I was slotted to speak in class.

It wasn't until I just started getting up in front of the class and I was bad at it let me tell you did I get over this fear.

I went from being scared stiff to winning speech contest and eventually going on to speak in front of hundreds of people.

The Secret To How To Conquer Your Fears – Answer

So what is the secret how to conquer your fears?

ACTION!

I know that sounds way to simple, but I can tell one of the aspects of fear is that it causes us to do NOTHING!

I love what the acronym of fear is – False Evidence Appearing Real!

In all of my stories above I didn't avoid the fear I moved THROUGH the fear with ACTION

Conquering Your Fears is all about taking action so that the False Evidence disappears.

So the next time you encounter one of those fears in your life that just stop you dead in your tracks – TAKE ACTION and move THROUGH IT!

Exposing the true evidence in something you fear and taking action is the best way to move through it and have great success.

I did that in my business by taking courses like Total Recruiting Mastery and 3 Minute Expert.

Getting involved with communities and using systems like MLSP Mastery.

What Is The Best Way To Generate Leads?If you want to know the best way to generate leads then you need to read and watch this post.  Lead generation is a must if you are going to build your business.

If you are serious about building your business then you are going to have to have a way of generating leads.

This is not something that you can be without.  Without new targeted quality leads your business will wither and die.

Finding the best way to generate leads is sometimes a daunting task and a question I get asked every week.

I was taught by my mentor and friend what the best method was and to be honest, I didn't really understand it at first.

Now that I'm generating 5 -10 leads a day using this method I totally get it.

What Is The Best Way To Generate Leads?

Okay, so what is the best way?

BLOGGING!

Yes, I said blogging.

After taking Ray's 3 Minute Expert course I was amazed at how my lead generation changed.

Understand this is not a super fast method but it is a super effective and long-lasting method.

I love the EHarmony add on TV where the gentleman asks the young lady “Do You Want Fast Or Forever?”

That's exactly how I think of this method of lead generation – forever!

Best Way To Generate Leads – Pros

There is a number of Pro's for blogging but I'm just going to share with you a few.

1.     Easy to start

When I say it's easy to start I really do mean it.

I use a system called MLSP Sites and I know people who have set up their blogs and started putting out content in less than a day.

The nice thing about Sites is that it is all done for you as far as the hosting, the themes, the security, the speed and the plugins.

So what you would end up paying much more for to get a great platform to blog on you can get for as little as $50 a month.

2.     You Own The Content

This is so very important.  Most of us didn't understand at first how important this point really was.

It wasn't until our Social Media Platform decided to shut us down that this became a reality.

How many times have you gone back looking for a post or even through your email looking for an offer or something of value and just couldn't find it?

I have people going to my blog reading posts that I made over a year ago now and I know as I continue to post this will only get better.

Your blog post will stay out there in the cyber world pretty much forever.

The other thing is that they are easy to find because they are on your blog and searchable.

3.     Allows You to Truly Brand You

This is one of the most important things I learned from the 3 Minute Expert Course.

Branding yourself is so very important.

I know we all love our companies and our products but remember life happens and sometimes we end up with a new company and then what.

You've all heard the old saying, “Wherever you go there you are.”

It doesn't really matter what company you are in, people follow you.

Remember people do business with those they know, like and trust.

Brand Yourself!

Recruiting Mastery – 3  Steps To Making More Money

Donald Duck moneyI want to preface this with the assumption that you are going to lead with the opportunity, not the product.

1.     Ask where they need help.

You need to find out where their pain is.

This will help you position yourself to answer their challenges and help them fix that.

I love Ray's quote. “You Can Lead A Horse to Water But You Can't Make them Drink Unless You Salt Their Food.”

You find out their issues in life and you then present your opportunity to address those issues.

You DON'T just do your pitch regardless of what your prospect needs and hope for the best.

ASK Questions!

2.     Talk about your MLM Team Training

This is where you can talk about your culture and training that your community and MLM Team offers.

This is a very powerful tactic if you are paying attention to the training that you team is providing.

You can provide the answer to their challenge by suggesting some team training you have available.

Most times they will want to know what you mean by team training and want to know more.

3.     If they are in a company, ask this question…

“How are you doing with generating leads online?”

9 out of 10 will tell you that they are not doing very well in that area.

If someone is unhappy with their current MLM company then you can move to presenting your opportunity.

Understand that a majority of the people you approach won't join your MLM and this is a way for you to still make some income from those people.

If you are a part of MLSP or MLSP Mastery then you can offer them the opportunity for an education program, not another MLM.

If they are negative you need to hold you posture.

Posture is the belief in what you are doing without the requirement of external acceptance!

Here is the script that you want to hit the negative person with.

“Do you know anyone that WOULD want to make some extra money if we showed them step-by-step how to do it?”

20 – 50% of the people you say this to will turn around and ask how they can do that.

The rest will be a source of referrals.
