If you want to become a Video Marketing Guru and start generating leads daily then, you need to get No-Fear Video Marketing, period!

When I first got started doing Videos, I thought you set up your camera, hit record and then chatted for a couple of minutes.

Boy, was I wrong!

Where To Post Your Videos – The Beginning

Obviously, before you can post your videos you have to create them.

I'm in the process of setting up a FREE resource for those people who want to learn how to do some professional editing once they record their videos.

I can tell you I started out using my iPhone and still do to this day.

So, you don't need to go out and invest thousands of dollars in high-end video production equipment.

[bctt tweet=”I love the quote: You don't have to be great to get started, but you do have to start to be great!” username=”rondeering”]

Where To Post Your Videos – The Answer

So, on to the answer.

There are hundreds of places you can host/post your videos, but today I'm only going to address three.

These are in no particular order.

1.   YouTube

The first place to post and host your videos is the prominent place YouTube.

Pros:

YouTube is one of the top search engines out there and of course Google loves them because they own them.

People are searching more and more for videos to answer their questions and get training.

YouTube also has some great bells and whistles that add to your marketing.

Cons:

Once you put your video on YouTube, it mostly belongs to them.

If they decide for whatever reason, they want to shut down your channel, they will.

You lose that control over YOUR content.

So, my recommendation is to post to YouTube, but don't let that be the only place you store your videos!

2.   Vimeo

Vimeo is not as socially inclined as YouTube, but it does have a social aspect to it.

The pros and cons on Vimeo are pretty much the same as YouTube.

You don't own your content once you upload it and your channel can be shut down at any time.

Vimeo also a paid service, where YouTube is Free.

Same recommendation as with YouTube be sure to back up your videos.

You can learn all about the third location in the video below.

4 Easy Video Editing Techniques To Add A Professional Look

4 Easy Video Editing Techniques To Add A Professional LookToday I’m going to share with you 4 Video Editing Techniques add a professional look to your videos.

So you’re finally doing videos, and now you want to make them more professional.

If you are interested in becoming a Video Marketing Guru, then I would highly recommend taking this course.

Today I will share with you some ideas to make your videos POP!

I know for some of us getting started was the first big step, but now that we have, we want to make sure our videos look and feel the best we can.

VIDEO EDITING TECHNIQUES: THE EQUIPMENT

I’m not going to go into a lot as far as what equipment to use for your video because I covered that in this post.

Needless to say that having a smartphone and tripod to mount it is the minimum to get started.

Don’t over think it or get stuck with waiting until you get all the best equipment, Just Do It!

[bctt tweet=”Learn about Video Editing Equipment for you Video Marketing” username=”rondeering”]

VIDEO EDITING TECHNIQUES: THE SOFTWARE

There are two main software packages that I would recommend depending on whether you are a Mac or PC user.

First, for the Mac, I would highly recommend Screenflow. You can either get Screenflow on their site or download from the App Store.

I’m a Mac user and just love this program and will be using it. Cost: $99.

Second, for the PC and Mac, is Techsmith’s Camtasia.  Camtasia is a great program and is available for both the Mac and the PC.

The PC version is a bit more spendy but well worth it.  PC Cost: $299, Mac Cost: $99.

[bctt tweet=”Learn about Video Editing Software for you Video Marketing” username=”rondeering”]

VIDEO EDITING TECHNIQUES: THE TECHNIQUES

1.   Intro

The Intro to your video can be something as simple as a graphic image that introduces you and the topic for the video.

It should be short about 2 – 4 seconds long.

What I typically do is create a new intro image for each video I create.

Example: 3-Easy-Keys-To-Becoming-A-Blogger

I run the graphic for about 2.5 seconds or close and then move on.

[bctt tweet=”Number 1 Tips is always to have an intro at the beginning of your Videos” username=”rondeering”]

2.   Transitions

There are a lot of different transitions that you can use within your video.

You can have transitions between changes in images.

There can also be transitions between different segments within your video.

The type of transition that you use is up to you.

I will tell you that I use the “Cross Dissolve” transition most of the time.

You can also have a short branded video as a transition.

I use this typically between my intro and the start of the main content.

Example:

I created this transition in my video editing program and then just use as a library file.

[bctt tweet=”Number 2 Tip is to use transitions within your Videos to segment them professionally” username=”rondeering”]

3.   Text Information

Adding text callouts is an excellent way to get and keep your viewers attention.

It also reinforces what you are explaining.

I use text callouts throughout my videos to add some professionalism and clarity on my content.

Another thing I use text callouts for is my lower third telling everyone who I am.

Example:

[bctt tweet=”Number 3 Tip is to use Text Callouts  within your Videos to clarify information” username=”rondeering”]

4.   Outro

Last but not least is your outro.

This can be the same as your intro or it can be a CTA video clip and graphic.

I like to use a CTA video clip like the one below.

[bctt tweet=”Number 4 Tip is to use Outro at the end Videos to share your CTA” username=”rondeering”]

The Four Part Online Video Marketing Formula

The Four Part Online Video Marketing FormulaIn this post, you are going to learn the Four Part Online Video Marketing Formula that will change your video marketing altogether.

If you are just starting with your Video Marketing and want to learn from a Video Guru, then you need No-Fear Video Marketing period.

Understanding the simplicity of this four-part formula will amaze you.

I can tell you that all of the top video marketers are using this exact method.

The Four Part Online Video Marketing Formula

After this, you can start creating videos that get results every time.

So, let's get into the formula.

1.   INTRO – State who you are and where you are

The Intro is where you let people know who you and where you are doing your video.

The perfect Intro should include Your Name, Your Website, and Your Location.

Example: “Hi my name is Ron Deering from RonDeering.com coming to you from my home office in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.”

Your Intro should become second nature to you when you are doing all of your videos.

[bctt tweet=”Part 1 of Online Video Formula – Intro with your Name, Blog, and Location.” username=”rondeering”]

2.   Ask A Question

Here you want to hit the pain points that your market has.

The question is meant to stimulate thought of the person watching the video.

The question should be open-ended which leads to your answer.

Questions are meant to be open loops.

After the question, you want to give them the bait to stay until the end.

Example: “Are you struggling to generate leads daily, then stick around until the end of this video because I have something special for you.”

[bctt tweet=”Part 2 of Video Marketing Formula – Ask The Question and lead them to the end of the video.” username=”rondeering”]

3.   High Value Content

The content is where the meat of the video goes.

The content to be high-value content and answer the question they came to the video to learn.

Make sure they get value even if they don't follow your CTA.

Focus on one major point or subject to keep your video laser-focused

[bctt tweet=”Part 3 of Video Marketing Formula – High-Value Content make sure to answer the question they came to your video for!” username=”rondeering”]

4.   The Call to Action

If you get this part wrong it will and your results will be very scattered.

In the CTA you are showing them the NEXT step.

If you leave the CTA off or do it wrong, your success in Online Video Marketing will be bad!

Your viewers won't do anything until you direct them!

The CTA moves them on the next part of the process.

Example: “to get more information on how you can generate more leads and sales on Youtube for your business in 90 days or less following a simple formula, download my free PDF and training video.  Click the link in the description below, enter your information and I will send it right over to you.”

[bctt tweet=”Part 4 of the Online Video Marketing Formula – CTA the most important part of your Video!” username=”rondeering”]

5 Easy Tips How To Write A Call To Action That Converts

5 Easy Tips How To Write A Call To Action That ConvertsIf you are or have ever wondered How To Write A Call To Action that will convert and get you more leads and sales, then this is the post for you.

If you have asked yourself what the purpose of every piece of content that you post is, the answer has to be to generate LEADS!

With that said, your Call To Action is one of the most important parts of your content.

You can have the best-written article or post in the world, but if it does not have a converting CTA you have failed when it comes to building your business.

How To Write A Call To Action That Converts

If you are looking the results of your online marketing and feeling like they are under-performing the first place to look is your CTA.

I love how Wikipedia defines Call To Action:

In marketing, a call to action (CTA) is an instruction to the audience to provoke an immediate response, usually using an imperative verb such as “call now,” “find out more” or “visit a store today.”

The CTA is the Instructions to your reader what to do!

Your CTA needs to pull your reader into action which creates a conversion.

Hopefully, you now know what the Call To Action is and what it is designed to do.

How To Write A Call To Action – The Tips

So, let's get on with the tips.

1.   Use Action Words – Verbs

You want to use words/verbs that draw your readers to take action.

Actionable Verbs are words that a person can prompt action.

Below are some examples of action verbs you can use:

*   Click
*   Download
*   Sign Up
*   Join
*   Start
*   Learn
*   Go

See how much more you can come up with that will spur your readers on to taking action.

[bctt tweet=”To Increase your conversions, make sure you use action verbs” username=”rondeering”]

2.   Create An Urgency in Your CTA

Creating a sense of Urgency is critical.

You want your readers to believe if they don't act now they will be missing out on something incredible.

It is the difference between “Call Us anytime to get your free gift” and “Call Us Today to Get Your free gift.”

Below are some examples of words that will achieve urgency in your CTA:

*   Now
*   Today
*   Limited Time
*   Ends Today
*   Last Chance
*   Act Now

Go through the exercise of seeing how many Urgency words you can identify.

[bctt tweet=”To Increase your conversions, create an urgency using words that spur on immediate action” username=”rondeering”]

3.   Offer Something Of Value

You would think that everyone would get this one.

Offering something of value is a must if you want your readers and visitors to exchange their information for your CTA.

When you add Action, Urgency, and Value to your CTA you have a winning combination.

Some examples are:

“Call today for your Free Quote.”
“Click Here to get your Free PDF On how to generate leads daily.”
“Click Here to receive your free coupon for 50% discount on your next purchase.”

These are just a few examples, but you get the point.

[bctt tweet=”Offer something of value in your CTA to Increase your Conversions!” username=”rondeering”]

4.   Make Sure Your CTA is Legible

When I say readable, I'm just talking about not making the print or image so small no one can read it.

Make sure that you CTA is readable, and your images are congruent with your CTA.

Another great tip here I learned from Michelle Pescosolido was to make sure the color of your CTA is only used in your CTA and not everywhere else.

A distinct color make it stand out amongst everything else.

[bctt tweet=”What your reader can't read won't convert. Make your CTA's legible and stand out from everything else” username=”rondeering”]

5.   Keep It Simple To Complete

Last but certainly not least it to keep things simple once they click on you CTA.

The last thing you want is for your reader to click on your CTA and then get lost on what to do next.

If you are sending them to an optin page, make it straightforward and congruent with the original CTA.

Don't lose them when you have gotten them this far with confusion.

[bctt tweet=”Keeping the Next Step Simple will Increase your conversions and keep your readers happy.” username=”rondeering”]

How To Write A Call To Action That Converts – Summary

Now that you have read these 5 simple tips on how to write a call to action that converts you can start tweaking and creating your own.

Remember:

  • Clear
  • Value
  • Easy to read
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Keep the final action simple
