One of the first things I discovered was that people don’t care about my business or my product.
What they do care about is THEMSELVES and how YOU can HELP THEM!
Once I learned that I started focusing on giving out value.
Putting out content that helped people in my niche which leads to number 2.
2. Solving Challenges
If you want to be known as the expert in your niche, then you need to start solving the challenges that your target market are experiencing.
People want to connect with someone that they trust and know will help them with the everyday challenges that they are experiencing.
They don’t want to hear about your resume’ or what you have done.
They are all about becoming successful themselves so getting help from YOU is their only concern.
3. Creating Content that Helps People
Creating content that meets the requirements above on a daily basis consistently is a must.
You may argue why do I have to create content daily and where am I going to find all of that content.
I can tell you from my experience the closer you can get to posting daily content the more successful you will become.
One of the processes that Ray teaches in his 3 Minute Expert course is called ILT.
ILT is the process of INVEST, LEARN then TEACH.
If you are working on your personal and business growth on a daily basis, then you are always going to have something to share with your target market.
Taking what you learn and putting your take on it and sharing it is a great way to have consistent value to share.
Branding Yourself Is That Easy
Don’t try and complicate this. Personal Branding is all about consistently providing value to your target market; that’s it!
We tend to want to make things much more complex than they are and then we have a great excuse why not to do it.
