I will tell most if not all of what I have learned over the past 12 months has come from two places. To Learn Every facet of Content Marketing, you need to be a part of this system.

The other is my mentor, upline, and friend, Ray Higdon and his blogging training.

Ray that gets millions of hits each and every month.  He’s an incredible coach and teacher that knows how to bring the complex and technical down to a level that the beginner, intermediate, or advanced marketer can understand and use.

He also is a content marketing genius so there’s that… 🙂

Blogging Tips: 3 Obstacles You Can Overcome

Blogging Tips - 3 Obstacles You Can OvercomeThere are probably a lot more than 3 obstacles when it comes to blogging, but these are my best blogging tips for you.  I hope these 3 will help you start your journey.

I will tell you that I’ve got these from my mentor and friend Ray Higdon’s 3 Minute Expert Course.  I would highly recommend that you get this course if you are really serious about becoming a blogger and building your business online.

There are going to be many obstacles along your blogging journey, but if you learn to tackle them as they appear and continue to move forward you will have a successful journey.

What I’m sharing with you today are the 3 most common obstacles that people have when making the decision to start blogging.

Again if YOU ARE REALLY SERIOUS ==> 3 Minute Expert

In his course, he goes through each of these in much more detail.

3 Obstacles You Can Overcome

1.    Technology

I happen to be in the technology profession and I just love it.  What I can tell you is that most people are users of technology and don’t really care to understand it or become experts in it.

So don’t even try.  If technology eludes you source it out.  Don’t spend time trying to figure out how to set up a new blog and get so frustrated that you eventually just QUIT!

Either get someone who knows what they are doing OR get a great system that has a blogging platform with it.

I personally use MLSP Sites and remember I’m a techie and I still use a SYSTEM!

Don’t let technology stop you before you have even started this incredible journey.

2.     What Do I Talk About?

This is the second of the 3 obstacles that I continually hear and, in fact, I had this same question myself.

In his course, Ray teaches the ILT system which stands Invest, Learn, Teach.  This method of developing content on a daily basis has changed my blogging journey completely.

The basics are just this.  You Invest in your education and personal growth, whether that is free or paid for.  You then take the time to actually Learn what you have invested in and finally you Teach others through your blogs what you have learned.

That’s all there is to it.  Most people have no problem with the first two but fail to take one more step to teaching and passing it forward.

3.     Why Would Someone Listen To Me?

This again one that I struggled with at first.  I kept thinking why would anyone listen to me.  I’m just starting this journey and really haven’t had any success yet.

If you are feeling that way, here’s what I can tell you STOP IT!

If you are working on growing yourself through courses, training and experience then you are most likely light years ahead of most people.

To be honest once I realized I was being selfish by not sharing what I was learning I’ve never had this obstacle stop me again.

You owe it to your niche to pass on what you are learning and experience instead of hoarding it all to yourself, capiche.

So there you have it my top 3 Obstacles that I have found most people have when deciding whether or not to start blogging and sharing what they have of value with the world.

Moral of the story is this, don’t let your fears stop you and don’t be a hoarder of what you have learned and been taught!

Conquer These 3 Obstacles NOW!

Does Blogging Consistently Really Work For Getting Leads?

Does Blogging Consistently Really Work For Getting Leads?I get this question almost on a daily basis, does blogging consistently really work for getting leads.  The Answer is a Resounding YES and today I’ll tell you why!

Back at the beginning of this year, 2015 I started learning about blogging and how it should really be done.

I took an incredible course from my mentor, upline, and friend Ray Higdon because that’s what you do when you want to learn something new, right.

So I went through the course and was amazed at the content, but even more I was amazed at how much I learned and how it really helped my blog.

Learning Blogging Consistently Like The Big Dogs

The first thing I realized that putting out content every so often and not being consistent just doesn’t work.  Let me tell you why.  The top marketers are BLOGGING CONSISTENTLY and if you want to compete at all once a week or a couple times a month won’t get it!

One of the biggest questions I get when it comes to blogging is where do you get your ideas to blog about?  This is a great question and was probably the reason that most people including me don’t blog daily or as often as they should.

In Ray’s course, the 3 Minute Expert he teaches you about ILT.  ILT is a method for coming up with content whenever you need it.

I – This is for Invest in your learning and education.  It may be free, paid, webinar, etc.  The key is to be in a constant learning mode to work on your personal development.

L – This is for Learning and using what you have invested in.  Doesn’t do much good to go to school and then never be able to or choose not to use what you have learned.

T – This is what most people don’t do and that’s Teach others what you have invested and learned.  Most people will do the I and the L, but if you really want to be known as an expert in your niche then you need to add the T.

After learning all of this content, I started putting it into ACTION!  When I started this journey my blog was at around 27 million on the Alexa.com ratings.

I wasn’t getting any leads no matter how hard I tried, at least not coming from my blog.

I added one more thing to this journey I was on and that was to start using a system called MLSP.  This is an amazing affiliate system, not an MLM, that gives you incredible training, tools, and support for building your primary MLM Business online and offline.

After blogging consistently for the past months and implementing just a few of the marketing techniques that I learned through MLSP here is where I am at.

My Alexa.com score has dropped to 287,000, in consistently getting 3 – 4 hundred new visitors to my blog daily and I’m generating 10 -15 new leads every day.

Here’s a picture of the leader board from MLSP as of yesterday.

MLSP Leader board 11-19-2015

Have I arrived yet, not at all?  Am I on my way, ABSOLUTELY!

This is a journey of blogging consistently and making a commitment to continue learning, growing, and teaching others.

Here’s what I can tell you that my business has changed significantly and is changing on a daily basis because I chose to make a decision to start blogging and not just blogging but blogging consistently and with a purpose.

Here’s the last thing I will tell you. MLSP has just launched their newest tool, MLSP Sites.  All I can say is if you are considering going down the blogging journey then you NEED to get MLSP and their Sites tool.

Top 10 Recommended WordPress Plugins for Bloggers

Top 10 Recommended WordPress Plugins for BloggersHave you ever wondered what WordPress plugins you should have installed on your WordPress Blog?  Today I’m going to tell you the 10 plugins that I recommend for your blog if you are interested in becoming an expert blogger.

Please understand this is by no means an exhaustive set of plugins because there are thousands out there and everyone has different needs depending on their niche and blogging desires.

These are the top 10 that I use and have had great success with and feel comfortable with the security.

If you are wondering what theme I use it is the Divi Theme from Elegant Themes.  This is a premium theme so it does cost, but there are many free themes out there if you are on a tight budget.

The other thing you need is hosting for your blog that is reliable and will handle your growth.  I’ve tried many hosting companies over the years and have always had some issues that caused me to move to a new one, until recently.

Introducing MLSP Sites…This is one you have to try out and see how fast, robust and how easy.  That’s all I’m going to say about hosting.

Okay, with all that said let’s get on to the meat of this post.

Top 10 Recommended WordPress Plugins for Bloggers

1.    SEO by Yoast

This is probably the most important of the ten plugins.  If you are not getting eyes on your blog then your are not going to be making an income from blogging.

The top bloggers out there use this plugin for all of their SEO needs.  It’s reliable and easy to setup.  If you want to get seen by the search engines then you need to have this installed and setup properly.

You can find this plugin Here.

2.    What Would Seth Grodin Do

This is a really cool plugin for your blog.  How would you like to offer something different to first-time visitors compared to those who have been to your site previously?

Now you can do just that with this plugin.  It will distinguish between visitors that are visiting for the first time and those that are returning to your site again and again.

Maybe you want to capture the information of the unique visitor by offering a free gift and yet with the returning visitor you might want to offer something worth a little more value because of their loyalty.

It’s a great plugin and I get a number of leads from this every month.  You can find this plugin Here.

3.    Facebook Comments Plugin

This is another one of those must plugins.  If you are going to want some social interaction then allowing your visitors to comment via Facebook is a great way to accomplish just that.

This one is pretty self-explanatory and easy to use.  You can get this plugin Here.

4.    Jetpack by WordPress

This is part of the WordPress system that typically comes installed when you set up your WordPress blog.  It is packed with all kinds of great settings that will enhance your blogging experience.

The settings that you activate or deactivate depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your blog.  This one again that you have to have.

5.    Pretty Link

This is one that I would be lost without.  They have two version, a lite version, and a pro version.  I would suggest starting with the lite version.

What does this do?  I’m sure you have noticed those very long complicated affiliate links with all kinds of numbers and characters that nobody is going to be able to remember or use.

What pretty links does for you is allow you to assign a URL to a much prettier link, for example, https://rondeering.com/mlspmastery as a link instead of the complex underlying link for that product.

This is just a very powerful WordPress plugin that in my opinion is another must!  You can get this plugin Here.

6.    Digg Digg Plugin

This plugin is used to allow your visitors to share your posts to the social media sites.  Digg Digg is a free plugin that works great but hasn’t been updated for awhile.

I personally use Monarch to accomplish the same thing.  Monarch, on the other hand, is a premium plugin and does cost.

You can get “Digg Digg” Here.  You can get Monarch Here.

7.    Email Optin Creator

You need some way to create optin forms in a number of different formats.

What do I mean by different formats?  Typically you will Inline, Sidebar, Bottom, Top, and Popup.

I have two different plugins that I use for this.  The first one is called PopUp.  This one does pretty much one thing, display great popups and there is a free version.

The other one that I have is called Optinmonster, which is a premium plugin and does everything.

You can get PopUps Here.  You can get OptinMonster Here.

8.    Contextual Related Posts

This one is just one that I like for displaying related posts at the end of your blog posts.  This is one of the good WordPress plugins out there.

It’s easy to configure and has a number of great options.  Again this is just my preference for this particular plugin.  That said you should have some way of showing off your other related posts.

You can get this plugin Here.

9.    MLSP Call to Action Widget

This is one of my favorites, but it is only available with the MLSP Sites Blogging System.  What this plugin does is allow you to very simple add MLSP system optin widgets anywhere on your blog.

This is a proprietary plugin that comes with MLSP Sites for free.

You can get this plugin and over 80 more Here.

10.  WP-SpamShield

Last but certainly not least is a very powerful Spam Blocker plugin.  This does exactly what you would think.  Blocks Spam!

You can get this plugin Here.

VIDEO: Top 10 Recommended WordPress Plugins for Bloggers

So there you have my 10 recommended WordPress plugins for the blogger.  I will leave you with this if you are just getting started as a blogger and are not a techy then you really need to check out MLSP Sites.

This is the whole package plus so much more for building your online presence and building your business.

5 Great Ideas for Content Marketing

5 Great Ideas for Content MarketingHave you ever wondered where to find something to write about when it comes to Content Marketing, wonder no more.

I’m currently going through an incredible course by my mentor and friend Ray Higdon.

It is by far one of the most packed full course on blogging, attraction marketing and how to become an expert that I’ve ever seen.

What I’m going to share with you today is just a few of the points from one of the BONUSES that come with the course.

I will tell you that this course is only available until this Wednesday, November 11th at midnight, so if you want to take advantage of all that this have to offer you need to go HERE NOW!

5 Great Ideas for Content Marketing

1.    Book Reviews –

Have you ever gone to a great movie or read a great book and just can’t wait to tell your friends and family.  Well, that’s all this idea for content marketing is all about.

The next time you read a book about your niche or maybe even one that you have read recently you should create a blog post on what you learned or took away from the book.

I don’t mean to plagiarize the book just what you got out of it and give back credit to the author.

Great tip, if you are an affiliate with Amazon.com then you can send your reader to the affiliate link for their book and make a little money also.

2.    Write about an affiliate product.

Just about every niche has affiliate products that are available to promote.  The key is to create a mediator post when it comes to blogging.

What do I mean?  Look at what your affiliate product has to offer after someone opt’s in.  Then write a post on some of the value that this affiliate product will give the buyer.

You be the mediator that gets them to opt in by spouting the value of the product not just blasting your affiliate link all over the internet.

This accomplishes a couple of things.  One you become more of a blogging expert and two you will get more people interested in the affiliate product you are promoting then you would with spamming.

3.     ILT

What does ILT stand for and how does it work?  ILT stands for “Invest, Learn, Teach.”

This is a system that was developed by Ray Higdon and taught all through his new course.

How it works is you INVEST your time and or money in training, seminars or events, you LEARN what you have invested in and then you do what most people just don’t do, you TEACH it to others in the form of blogging.

That’s all there is to it, but you would be surprised how many people just don’t get it.  In fact, that’s exactly what I’m doing with this blog post.

4.     Your Story

This one is pretty self-explanatory but so very important.  This could be your story that relates to your struggles, successes and victories or it could be someone else’s story.

Stories can be so very powerful and when tied to the product, system or company that created your success they become even more powerful.

Remember content marketing and attraction marketing are all about giving out value.

5.     Find out what is hurting your niche

This is one that you will have to be out on Social Media and becoming a listener.

The next time you are out on Facebook look at what the people in your niche are struggling with.  You would be surprised how often I see people chatting about some challenge they are having.

When you become the blogging expert more and more people will start looking to you for their solutions.

Remember this is just a small bit of what I have got from this course.  I encourage you to take advantage of this before it disappears.

So here it is again, only available until this Wednesday, November 11th at midnight, so take advantage of all that this has to offer and go HERE NOW!

4 Easy Steps How To Start Blogging and Start Getting Leads

Once you have decided to start blogging to market online and generate leads, your first question should be what are the steps how to start blogging.

So, today I’m going to give you 4 Easy steps how to start blogging that will make your journey to blogging and generating leads much simpler.

I can’t tell you how many times in a week I have people telling that they would love to start blogging, but they just don’t know how to get started.

Well, today that reason is going to be removed and you will have absolutely no reason not to start blogging and generating leads on a daily basis.

4 Easy Steps How To Start Blogging

VIDEO:4 Easy Steps How To Start Blogging

Easy Step 1 – setup up the initial blogging platform.

This is where most people get stuck and I’m going to tell you it really is not that hard.

The first thing you need to do is chose a platform to use.  I will tell you that in my opinion this one is a no-brainer.

WordPress is by far the best one out there.

There are two options with WordPress  –

1.     Have your blog hosted at WordPress.com and let them control the hosting and your blog essentially.

2.    The preferred method is to have a Self-Hosted WordPress blog.  What does this mean?

All this means is that you get your own hosting service like Hostgator, which is very inexpensive and easy to setup.

They also have a step by step install for WordPress on your site.

The other option is to get an entire marketing system like the one I use that comes with an incredible marketing, training, tracking, Blog Site and much more.

You can find out all about this system here.  Our system for the blogging is called MLSP Sites.

Whichever path you choose to take the process is pretty easy.  Watch the video for some more detail.

Easy Step 2 – Start Creating Daily Content

Once you physically get your blog created now it’s time to start creating content, meaning writing posts.

Again in the video I will show you in more detail some of the mechanics on how easy it is to write a post.

Easy Step 3 – Create a Lead Magnet with Optin to start getting leads and building your list.

What is a lead magnet?   A lead magnet is something that you are giving away, either free or paid.

It’s something that acts like a magnet to grab a leads information and add them to your list.

I talk more about that in the video.

Easy Step 4 – Promote Your Blog and Your Posts

The final step is to start promoting your blog and the daily content that you create.

At this point, every thing you do should point back to your online headquarters, your Blog!

This is where a lot of people fall short.  All things should lead to your blog.

So there you have it.  4 easy steps how to start blogging and start getting leads.  Be sure to watch the video for more details and more mechanics and technical information.

I hope this has helped you see how easy it is to get start blogging and getting leads.
