One of the things I discovered very early in my online marketing journey was the need for a good system.

The Secret Formula To Your Online Business Foundation

The bottom line of Internet Marketing is all about Attraction Marketing and Building Relationships

The basis of Attraction Marketing and you business foundation is the Formula and Strategies below:

1.   Vision and Personal Development Strategy

A gentleman by the name of Michael Beckwith has a quote about a vision that goes like this.

“Pain Pushes You Until Your VISION Pulls YOU!”

For many years I kept hearing about having a WHY that makes you cry.

I can tell you that's great, but it's your Vision that will keep you going through the ups and downs of your business

Intertwined with your Vision is your Personal Development.

To reach your Vision in Life you need to be consistently growing!

Vision and Personal Development are critical when it comes to building your business online or offline.

2.   Personal Branding and Target Market Strategy

Here's another area that I just didn't understand in the beginning.

I thought like most people you should be promoting your business, product, and company.

Boy, was I wrong!

I don't know about you but companies come and go but the one thing that's always there is YOU!

Once I found the right System everything changed!

I started branding ME and helping my Target Market.

I didn't take long before people were hunting me down to get more training and help with their pain points.

The next step for them was to ask me what my primary Network Marketing business was and could they be a part of our team.

Start Branding You and Developing a Strategy to help you Target Market consistently with commitment.

You might choose Blogging, Videos, Social Media, or a combination of these for your Marketing Strategy.

The key is to choose one and get started, for me it was Blogging initially.

Choose one and become great at it, then you can start adding other strategies.

3.   Monetization Strategy

The sole purpose of your marketing is to get Leads and then Monetize those leads, Make Money!

Unless you are just marketing for fun and not trying to build your business monetization is critical for your business foundation.

I use Lead Magnets to exchange value for visitor information.

Another great way to capture leads and monetize are Webinars.

The key is to get them on your list by providing value and solutions to their pain points.

Once on your list, they will become open to purchasing and joining your team

That's called monetization!

4.   Content Creation and Content Marketing Strategy

So, your next question should be how do I add value to my target market?

The answer is with consistent Valuable Content Creation!

As you are going through your Personal Development you are going to learn things that you can pass on to your market.

My strategy has been Ray Higdon's ILT method.

Invest, Learn, Teach.

For me, this changed everything as far as content creation.

Consistency is the most important part of your content creation and your business foundation.

Your strategy is pretty simple, create valuable content to your target market consistently.

5.   Follow Up and Engagement Strategy

We've all heard the old axiom; “the fortune is in the follow up.”

Well, I'm here to tell you it's very true, follow up is essential.

I use an amazing CRM system to keep on my follow up.

Whatever system you use the key is to use IT!

Engagement on your Social Media profile's is another important method of follow up that is essential.

The more engagement you have the better more feedback you will get and better relationships you will develop. 

6.   Traffic Strategy

Now that you have everything set up and you are creating consistent valuable content you need people to see it.

Because I use my Blog as my hub for my marketing I send all my traffic there.

So when I put a post on Social Media I point it back to my blog.

Your Traffic strategy can be comprised of free organic traffic, paid traffic or a combination of both.

I would recommend starting with some free traffic strategies and graduate to paid traffic and paid ads.

Again the key is to get started and start generating traffic to your content and value.

Of course, the primary secret to your business foundation is to start and be consistent.

Understanding the above formula will take your online marketing to the next step and beyond.

You just have to decide if you are tired of your old marketing and prospecting and ready to start a new and exciting strategy to build your business online!

Using Marketing Sales Funnels To Build Your Network Marketing BusinessI get asked this on a weekly basis, should I be using Marketing Sales Funnels to build my Network Marketing Business online?

What I can tell you is that if you are not marketing your business online you are missing out.

We are in the Digital Marketing era and continuing to only do the “Old School” offline marketing just doesn't work.

Not only do we live in a Digital world our market is World Wide.

Using Marketing Sales Funnels

The first challenge that most Network Marketers have is where to find their target prospects.

I believe there are two ways to use Digital Marketing to reach out to your prospects online

1.   Social Media

Facebook is a great place to start.

Remember, Social Media is all about being social.

I use Facebook to connect with people in groups that are of like mind and part of my target audience.

Be sure that you are not pitching or spamming your company link all over Social Media.

It just doesn't work!!

Search out Facebook groups that are tailored to your niche' and start interacting with PEOPLE.

Another great method is to start doing Facebook Live events consistently.

This is a great way to build an audience of people who are interested in you and what you are teaching.

So, even though this is a manual method it is still more effective than the old school methods.

2.   Paid Marketing

Another great way to find targeted prospects is Paid Marketing or Traffic. 

So, if you have a done a great post or video turn that into a Paid Ad.

What you have done is compress time by putting your marketing on autopilot.

Paid marketing is a great way to focus your marketing on your target prospects and it is very scalable.

The bottom line is once you create a great ad that converts now you can start spending more money.

Using Marketing Sales Funnels – Capturing Leads

So, now you have lots of prospects to connect with what's next.

How do you turn those people into leads that you can consistently communicate with?

Remember, using a Sales Funnel means people come to you.

You become the hunted instead of the hunter.

Your Landing Page

You have found thousands of prospects but haven’t yet captured their email address in order to add them to your contact list.

In order to now capture their email address, you will need to build a compelling and conversion optimized landing page.

Your landing page should have a contact form, capturing headline, key points of the benefits of your offer and a compelling call-to-action (CTA).

It is important that your landing page is completely relevant to the paid ad or social media message you used to get that person to land on your page.

Remember, congruency is key.

Your CTA

This is one of the most important parts of your landing page.

I always make my CTA button a stand out color and text that's very clear.

Something like “Yes, Send Me the PDF Now” or “Watch This Video Now.”

You need to make sure that your visitor is 100% clear on what the next step is.

Using Marketing Sales Funnels – Communication

Now that you are building a list the next step is communication.

So, what's the best method to accomplish this communication?

EMAIL

Why?

Well, first once someone opts into your email list, that’s “owned data”.

You can reach them whenever you want.

You already have their email address, and so you can use a service like Aweber to send consistent communications.

All of these will help answer their questions and reassure them that they too can benefit from network marketing.

An important rule with email marketing though is to segment your contact list.

This is so messages are targeted to each specific person, how they came to become a prospect and their current behavior.

Not only will you have higher quality prospects but you’ll be building a stronger relationship with those who are interested in what you have to offer.

Using Marketing Sales Funnels – Tool

I wanted to spend just a few seconds on some available tools for creating your funnels.

I'm going to list the top three I'm familiar with and links to find out more.

I will tell you that my preferred system is Clickfunnels because of ease of use and all the bells and whistles.

My next choice would be Funnelizer because I love MLSP and all that it offers.

Using Marketing Sales Funnels – Summary

In conclusion, if you are going to take advantage of the Digital Marketing era and optimize your prospecting and building your Network Marketing business you need a great Sales Funnel.

I believe that each of these methods work and most importantly is to become an expert in your niche'.

I don't believe that one is light years better than the others, but I do have a preferred primary method.

I believe that whatever way you choose consistency and commitment are critical.

The method you chose will be the one you are most comfortable with, and they all take learning and practice.

1    Blogging

This my primary method of online marketing and I tie the other two into my blog.

I love to blog now, but it wasn't always that way.

In the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing so I struggled with content and marketing using my blog.

It wasn't until I investing in my education and took a course on how to become an expert in blogging that things changed.

Now I have one of the top Network Marketing Blogs out there, and I'm consistently generating targeted, quality leads daily.

Again, the key was being consistent and committed to the process.

2.   Video

Video marketing is an excellent marketing method that works great.

Getting your face out there becomes a personal branding explosion for you.

When I put Video Marketing together with my blogging things changed again.

But, it wasn't until I once again invested in my education and went through a thorough Video Marketing Course that things changed.

Video marketing can certainly be done as your primary marketing method or combined with the other two.

3.   Social Media

Last but certainly not least is Social Media Marketing.

Again this can be done on its own or combined with the other two methods.

I'm going to talk about Facebook here because it's the biggest platform.

Using Facebook as your Social Media Marketing platform is great.

Facebook was a tough one for me because I don't have cats, hahaha  :).

Once I figured out that you don't just spam your company link everywhere and start building relationships things changed for my marketing.

Understand all of the nuances of Social Media Marketing once again took some education on my part

Combining this training and some new training on Facebook Live Streaming to my Facebook Marketing to the next level.

7 Phases Of A Marketing Lead - LifeLine of a LeadI went through some training from Russell Brunson on the Seven Phases of a Marketing Lead that I thought was well worth sharing with my readers!

Russell Brunson's DotComSecrets Book is one of the most useful Business Building Books I have ever read.

Understanding the lifeline of the lead is critical if your funnels are going to be at their best.

7 Phases Of A Marketing Lead – LifeLine of a Lead

So, I'm going to give you a brief overview of these seven Phases, and I would recommend that you get his DotComSecrets book for FREE plus shipping.

With the book comes a membership site with some excellent training modules all for FREE!

Okay, let's get on with it.

1.   Step #1 – Traffic Temperature

Understanding where your traffic is coming from is essential.

You need to know whether you are going to be dealing with Hot, Warm, or Cold Traffic.

Each one of these visitors has different pain points or triggers that you need to address.

If you don't understand what type of traffic you are going to get or are looking for you will most likely miss the mark.

2.   Step #2 – Your Pre-Frame Bridge

Your pre-frame bridge is probably the most important part of your funnel.

Have you ever been a guest speaker at an event and the person introducing does a terrible job?

If effects you whole presentation after that.

That introduction is you Pre-Frame, and it has to be amazing!

How you pre-frame the rest of your funnel will make all the difference in the results.

Another great example is the movie “Cliff Hanger” with Sylvester Stallone.

The movie starts out with his best friends wife falling to her death on a mountain climb and then goes from there.

You are so captivated by the opening scene that you have to watch the rest of the movie.

Think of it as the door people walk through before they get to you!

Your Traffic Temperature will determine what kind of Pre-Frame you should use.

3.   Step #3 – Qualify Subscribers

Qualifying your Subscribers is how you determine where they are at in this whole process.

Using a Squeeze page is the first step in the qualification process.

You need to find out who is willing to give you their email address so you know how qualified they are to moving on.

The squeeze page or Landing page is where this happens.

4.   Step #4 – Qualify Buyers

This step is where you weed out the looky-loos.

Once you qualify who you buyers are you have a group of people who have raised their hand and identified they are a buyer.

From there you can start the marketing process of more products.

5.   Step #5 – Identify Buyers in Heat

Finding out who your Buyers In Heat are is key.

These are the buyers that are what we call hyperactive buyers.

They are in pain now and need that pain relieved NOW!

Buyers in heat have to be handled differently than other buyers.

These first five steps are Point-Of-Sale phases the next two phases are the relationship building phases.

6.   Step #6 – Age And Ascend The Relationship

The first five steps are like dating.

Those steps are used to find out who you are going to move forward with.

Now in this phase, you start building on that relationship with introducing your “Attractive Character.”

You can do this with webinars, continuity programs, etc.

7.   Step #7 – Change The Selling Environment

This step is where you enter the Marriage phase.

You have to change the selling environment if you want to move to the high-end coaching programs.

This step where you develop that relationship that people just want to learn everything they can from YOU!

This step is typically handled by phone contact, not email.

When I first started in Network Marketing many years ago, we only had one option prospecting in the highways and byways.

Some companies still discourage their reps from using anything except their website and prospecting the old way.

So, what's the answer?

The answer is simple you need to do both.

Marketing is all about attracting the right customers and business partners.

Most people who are in Network Marketing and using Social Media to market are just spamming everywhere.

They weren't taught about Attraction Marketing or how to market properly to gather quality leads online.

Our market today is World Wide and if you are going to be a leader you have to treat it as such.

Learning Attraction Marketing, in my opinion, is a most!

So, the bottom line is if you are going to build a World Wide Organization in today's market you need to learn online marketing.

I still believe you need to be doing both with a greater focus on online marketing.

If you are one of those, die hard offline marketers that are fine.

Here's what I will tell you, though.

DO NOT force that on your team!

If you have people on your team that wants to learn real marketing and build their team using Attraction Marketing encourage them.
