The final part of Webinar Marketing is creating a Webinar that converts like crazy and does the job you've intended it to do, sells.

Having a structure that converts consists of getting ATTENTION, creating INTEREST, building DESIRE and getting attendees to take ACTION!

Webinar Marketing Part 5 – Creating The Webinar

In the section below I'm going to share with you a three-part structure that will turn your webinars into converting machines!

1.  The Intro Must Get Their ATTENTION

You should begin your webinar with a bold promise.

Why should the attendee stay for the webinar?

What will be the main benefit(s) the attendee will receive?

To Build Interest and Desire Tell YOUR Story!

It's amazing how powerful a great story is and how it will hold a person's attention.

A great story will give them the hope and reason to keep watching knowing what's possible for them

Every story should have a beginning, middle, and end to it.

•  The Beginning – This is the part where you tell them where you were before.  What your struggles were.
Be sure to describe the feelings that went along with this part of the story and all of the challenges and other people's thoughts.

•  The Middle – In this part of the story you reveal where you had your epiphany in your journey.
You are letting your attendees know exactly what it was that changed your journey forever!

•  The End – Now it's time to share with them your results or the AFTER in your journey.
This will show them what's possible for them when they learn what you have learned.

You need to make them FEEL exactly what it's like to have the SUCCESS you are speaking of.

They need to relate to you and feel like you are one of them, not some superhero that they could never be.

This is the part where you create the KNOW Factor of Know, Like, and Trust.

2.  Your Training PRESENTATION

In this section is where you give your training and earn their TRUST.

Give them 30 – 40 minutes of training where you give them some great meat but not the whole meal.

You need to give them enough that they can get results from the training.

Make sure you let them know that it's going to take time, effort, and energy to put what you have taught into play.

However, there is a system/course/strategy that will FAST TRACK their results without all of the pitfalls that you had to go through.

Here is where you should remind them that you will be revealing even more and their bonus if they stay until the end.

3.  The Close and Call To ACTION

Warning: 

ONLY promote things that you have used, are using, and feel good about selling.  Don't promote something just because you'll get a big fat commission!

In this section, you need to hit five points to close the webinar.

•  Describe What They'll Get – Give them the features of your product, service, or opportunity.  Try and answer any challenges or objections they may have had with the presentation.

•  Remember Use Scarcity to Create Urgency – Set a strict time limit for the bonus and a limit to the number of items that are available. (And stick to it!)

•  Establish Value of Your Product – Share comparisons with other product or services that cost more with less value.

•  Add Bonuses – Give them bonuses that compliment your product or service.  These should be so valuable that they are worth the cost on their own.

•  Finish Up With A Strong Call-To-Action to BUY NOW!

 

Webinar Marketing Part 5 – Summary

Putting it all together for the final part is the icing on the cake.  Take the time to practice and make this part amazing and exciting.

It will make all the difference in the world when it comes to your webinars.

Using the above three tips will increase your attendance and make your Webinar much more successful!

Webinar Marketing Part 4 – Explode Your Attendance

When it comes to Webinar Marketing Registrations are great and the more the merrier, but really matters is how many people really attend!

There will always be a difference between the number of people that register and the number of people that attend.

It's your job to work on maximizing the number of people that show up!

Again, I want to emphasize the importance of your education.

Take the time to go through a good webinar course like Webinar Sales Magic.

In the following tips, I will show you how to Maximize your attendance rate and get people to your webinars.

Webinar Marketing Part 4 – Explode Your Attendance

Follow these three tips to take your attendance rates to new heights!

1.  Create Scarcity and Urgency

You need to set a max limit for your webinar and make sure everyone knows what that limit is.

This will create a sense of scarcity and urgency at the same time.

People will want to get on early so they don't lose a seat.

Follow up with emails to those who registered letting them know the limits and that there's a real possibility of being locked out.

2.  Give Away A Bonus Gift For Attending

People just love bonuses.

On your registration confirmation page, you can remind them WHY they need to be there and that there will be a bonus gift when they attend.

It will amaze you how much this somewhat small thing will increase your attendance rates.

Steve Jaffe often gets 60%+ attendance to his webinars, which is nothing short of amazing.

The above is an example of a bonus giveaway for registering.

3.  KEEP Promoting Right Up To The Webinar

People have very short attention spans online. With so much stuff vying for attention by other marketers, it’s easy to forget about your webinar (even though it’s scheduled.)

The key is to simply remind them so they can’t forget, and remind them WHY they need to be there. (Benefits for them!)

Steve Jaffe starts reminding registrants 3 days before by email and social media (but no more because attendance drops if you start too far ahead of time.) He then goes heavy on the last day reminding registrants (and those who haven’t registered yet) up to 5 times on the day of the webinar…

Here’s the schedule that he’s tested extensively for the day of…

  • 9:00 am: Webinar Tonight! Secrets To….
  • 1:00 PM: Webinar Tonight 9:00 PM EST! How To…
  • 7:00 PM: STARTS IN 2 HRS! 9:00 PM EST! Ways To….
  • 8:00 PM: STARTS IN 1 HRS! 9:00 PM EST! The Best Way To…
  • 9:00 PM: STARTS NOW! 9:00 PM EST! Secrets To…

NOTE: This is a very aggressive approach to promoting a webinar. Your audience may be different. Use this as a baseline and gauge your audience reaction – track your attendance rate and see if more or fewer emails are necessary to max your attendance.

Promote similarly on social media with this timeline!

Having a successful promotion strategy is the key and luckily you won't have to reinvent the wheel.

Below I'm going to share with you 2 surefire tips to get a flood of people to Register For Your Webinars.

1   Create Your Title With A USP ( Unique Selling Proposition )

If you are going to attract registrants to your webinars then you need a title that stands out from everyone else.

Here's where your title comes into play.

Your title must let your target market know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your webinar will address their pain points and provide the solution(s).

Examples:

Bad Headline – “Facebook Advertising Secrets”

Good Headline – ” Facebook Leads For Haters: How To Generate 30 – 50 Leads Per Day On Facebook (For $3,00 Per Lead Or Less) Even If You HATE Facebook!”

The “Good” example is certainly unique and will make your webinar stand out from the others.

You're making a specific promise (proposition) of 30-50 leads per day which everybody would love.

You are also hitting the two most common objections right in your headline (wasted money and time).

It should be pretty easy to see why the “Good” headline is better and would pull significantly more registrants.

2.   High Converting Webinar Registration Page

Seems pretty obvious, right?

Here's exactly what we mean.

Higher conversions come from shorter, punchier, benefit-packed registration pages.

1.   Your Headline

This is your USP which we spoke about above in tip number one.

2.   Bullets

Here is where you should 5 – 7 bullet points that tell your prospects what you will be covering during the webinar.

Most important here are the benefits they will receive from attending!

3.   Credibility of the Presenter

Here is where you explain why the presenter is the authority to host the webinar.

4.   Registration Button

A highly visible button, with a call to action, that's above the fold.

Having the right training will certainly help transform your fears into confidence.

Do one alone, and then do another with a friend watching.

You can record your presentation, watch it, and then work out the kinks.

Just remember not to get caught up in the practice mode.

3.  Draw On The Support of Other Webinar Marketers

I can't stress this tip enough.

You NEED to draw from the support of a community of leaders and successful people.

There is just nothing like getting support from others.

Especially those who have been or are in the same situation as you are.

One such community is MLSP and I can't recommend them enough.

The supportive community they provide is nothing short of amazing!

4.  Just Do It and Take Action

Nothing conquers fear faster than taking action.

Not just simple action but MASSIVE Action!

If you always remember that on the other side of the fear is all of the hopes and dreams for your life.

Without getting past your fears you will never reach those dreams!

1.    Scheduled Events Get More Attention and Commitment

The experts have found that a scheduled event gets significantly more attention than those not scheduled.

If you compare this to your own personal life you will see this to be true.

Those events that you have RSVP'd and made a commitment to are more likely to be attended.

With just a verbal commitment you will feel like you can back out if needed.

You will find that it works the same way online with Webinar Events.

We have a whole different attitude when we have committed to be at these events.

I certainly find myself more focused and committed when I'm attending a webinar compared to maybe a Facebook Live event I just stumbled on.

You can walk into any classroom in the world, and the first thing you know is who is the authority in the room.

When you understand the old marketing truth, that people only buy from those they know like and trust you understand why webinars are so powerful!

The 5 Secret Laws To Successful WebinarsHaving great Webinars means understanding the 5 Laws of Successful Webinars and becoming an expert at each of them!

Having a great webinar platform is the beginning of doing great webinars.

For me, I currently use Zoom or WebinarJam.

WebinarJam is my preferred platform, especially the latest version just launched.

The 5 Secret Laws To Successful Webinars

1.  The Law Of Increased Registrations For Successful Webinars

The first thing to understand is that your registration page is really no different than any other optin page.

Your goal is to capture the lead!

That said, this makes your Headline the most important thing on the page, not the webinar details.

Now, most people think that you have to have a bunch of bullets explaining what the webinar is going to be about.

Expounding on the amazing content that the attendee is going to receive.

WRONG!

You have about 5 seconds to grab your visitors attention.

You are not going to do that with a bunch of bullet points!

Okay so here are 3 Headline formulas that I want to share with you.

1.  Headline Formula #1

“Incredible Good WITHOUT Incredible Bad”  (Even if you never/always)

Example: “How I discovered that I DID have 6-pack Abs and the No-Hunger, No-Exercise Way to make them appear on my middle-aged body!”

Example: “This Strategy created a 312% Productivity Increase WITHOUT hiring additional employees, increasing salaries, and added ZERO hours to my work week.”

2.  Headline Formula #2

How I/we/company/person of interest [Achieved an Awesome Outcome] [while burdened with a massive disadvantage].

Example:  “How I earned a 735 credit score with 2 Tax Liens on all 3 of my credit reports!”

Example: “The Simple After-School Game that helped put my ADD diagnosed 10-year old son onto the honor roll and into next years gifted-and talented program.” – this is a reverse of the formula.

3.  Headline Formula #3

For the [Prospect In Pain] How to [Live the Dream] starting with [A Low-Magnitude Change/Activity/Situation]

Example:  For the Busy Mom: How to quickly prepare healthy meals your children will love without ever turning on the oven.”

Example: For the Unpublished Author: How to get 4&5 star book reviews and explode onto best-seller lists without spending even a dollar on advertising.”

The other part of the registration is the attendance.

One way to increase your attendance from the Registration page is to Giveaway a Freemium!

A Freemium???

You want to engineer the Freemium and the Webinar to Compliment Each Other

Let the Freemium Pre-Frame the Webinar.

Key Questions created by the Freemium are answered on the Webinar.

Examples:

  • Process Map
  • Check Lists
  • Mind Map
  • Free Report
  • Video Tutorials

Put these two things together, A Killer Headline and the Freemium, and you will have a winning Registration Page!

2.  Law Of Maximum Attendance For Successful Webinars

This section is all about maximizing your attendance.

Andy and Mike (founders of WebinarJam) introduce the 4-Part Indoctrination Strategy in this Law and I'm going to share with you the highlights.

The goal is to put your Attendee in a “Ready To Buy” state of Excitement.

Maximum Attendance is the Key to Offer conversion!

The Big Picture:

Between the time they register and the time of the Webinar:

  • You deliver 4 Specific messages to your Registrant
  • Each one is designed to intensify their desire to attend your webinar.

Messages:

  1.   Indoctrination
    1.   “How To Be”  – you will learn how to be …
    2.   “How To Stop” – they will no longer suffer from…
    3.   “Introduce Technique X” – Technique X is the most power Feature of your product…
  2.   Reasons Why – Talk about the Outcomes viewers have had…
    1.   Start with the “State of” the User
    2.   Talk about the User's first effort that resulted in failure
    3.   Talk about how the User adopted a Tip (Technique X)
    4.   What happened to the User?
  3.   Surprise
    1.   Announce an important update!
    2.   Information that relates directly to your prospects KEY Pain Point and/or Key Pleasure Enhancement
  4.   Starting Now
    1.   It's time restate the first 3 communications in short bullet points
    2.   Only mention Benefits to the User
    3.   There's no time left to decide to attend – it's starting NOW
    4.   In the P.S. of your Message
    5.   Mention that you'll be answering Live FAQ's on the Webinar
    6.   Add another link to join
3 Communication Variations:
  1.   Just Email Only
  2.   Email “Selling the Click” to a Video.
  3.   Email “Selling the Click” to a Blog Post or Web Page

Again this is just a snippet of the powerful training that was in this second training video.

3.  The Law Of Maximum Engagement For Successful Webinars

In this section, they teach on “Webinar Stick Strategies.”

How to keep your Webinar Viewers Glued to your entire presentation.

Understand that keeping your Attendees around until you make your Offer is CRITICAL!

1.   The Reward Promise

This is where you offer the Attendee a Freeminum (FREE Stuff) just for attending the Webinar.

So, the key is you'll deliver the Freemium during your Webinar Q & A.

Key Factors that make The Reward Promise Work!

  1.   The bonus MUST have some Real Value!
    1.    It shouldn't conflict with your Webinar Offer.
    2.    It should be RELATED and Congruent – NOT Competitive!
  2.    Examples:
    1.    Weight Loss Product – “How to Read Food Labels” bonus
    2.    Legal Business Product – “Key Business Tax Advantages” bonus
  3.    How-To Offer And Deliver The Bonus
    1.    Offer and explain the Bonus immediately after you introduce yourself
    2.    Explain the VALUE (Financial and Explicit)
    3.    Explain that during the Webinar Q&A, you will show them how to get the Bonus
  4.    When and How to Deliver The Bonus
    1.    During the Q&A – Announce How
    2.    The Bonus is on the same page your Offer's Add to Cart Button is in the footer of the page
      1.   Include a link that takes them to a new page
      2.   This is where they can claim their bonus

2.   The Pick-A-Path Strategy

So, the pick-a-path strategy is where the Attendees create ‘Social Proof' and ‘Reason's why' “On-the-Fly.”

The Social Proof and Reasons why encourage ENGAGEMENT with your message.

In turn, this becomes the key to them sticking around and create Successful Webinars.

Strategies:

  1.   At the beginning of your presentation ask your attendees in the Chat WHERE they're from.
  2.   Conduct a Poll – Ask about the challenges and announce the results.
  3.   Conduct a Survey – Ask them what is the most important factor in using the solution will be.

So, I hope you see here how important maximizing your engagement during your presentation.

In summary, don't forget to engage not just present!

4.   Law Of The Perfect Offer For Successful Webinars

So, in this section, they talk about they teach about the 5 Specific “Plot Point” they tell a powerful story about your product, service, or opportunity.

They also talk about the technology to use for a “Fool Proof” Call To Action.

The Big Picture When It Comes to Successful Webinars:

  • Your Webinar is an Event In Time
  • You need important moments to “Unfold” before the view to maintain their enthusiasm.
  • The Best Way to create a compelling “Unfolding” is to structure your information.
  • So, how do you this, with “Plot Points”

5 Specific Plot Points:

  1.   In the beginning, Life Was Hard.
