I learned most of what I will be sharing here from training using my MLM Recruiting System to generate Network Marketing Leads.
Another huge resource that has helped me in my journey building my Network Marketing Success has been Ray Higdon’s 3 Minute Expert Course.
Remember that Network Marketing Recruiting is a skill that needs to be developed just like any other job skill that you develop.
No one is born a recruiting master, it takes work, training and experience to become an MLM Recruiting Master.
Network Marketing Recruiting – Maintaining Your Posture
Maintaining your posture when recruiting is such a crucial skill set and so little taught. I love how much Ray Higdon spends on developing the bulletproof attitude and skill.
Basically maintaining posture is all about a couple of things.
- Controlling the Conversation.
- Not Being Married To The Outcome.
- Asking the right questions.
Your ability to control the conversation and not allow the prospect take you down rabbit holes that just don’t matter is key.
Your prospects will do must anything to control the dialogue and get you to the result they want. You need to keep this from happening.
So how do we keep from losing this control?
First, we need to divorce ourselves from the outcome. We need to develop an attitude of it justs doesn’t matter. Stop thinking of every prospect as your next meal.
Take that control away from them and give it back to yourself. This is key if you are ever going to join the ranks of the top recruiters.
Second, you need to learn the right questions to be asking. By the right questions, I mean questions that will direct the conversation in the direction you desire.
You will be amazed at how asking simple questions that solicit yes responses will change everything. Questions like “Would You Be Open…”
Developing the skills 2 and 3 in the above list will make skill 1 much easier.
What Makes It So Hard To Maintain Your Posture In Network Marketing Recruiting?
I wish I had some amazing words of wisdom to give you here. The bottom line truth is you are your own worst enemy.
We have been taught all of our lives to be so concerned about what others might think about us.
For some of us, this will be a paradigm shift and others it will require some tweaking to get things working a little better.
Always remember that you are the one that has something of great value to offer your prospects, not the other way around.
The more action you take the better you will become. Here’s a great post from my mentor and top earner Ray Higdon.
